Program Overview
These short courses provide introductions to Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts. Organization-wide deployment of Lean Six Sigma, selection of Lean Six Sigma projects, formation of teams, project management, and Lean Six Sigma certification are discussed. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will either receive a Yellow or Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
Lean Six Sigma Online Courses
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Workshop – May 12, 2023
This short course provides an introduction to Lean Six Sigma. The history of Lean Six Sigma is discussed. The DMAIC process is introduced. Various tools used in Lean Six Sigma projects are introduced. A Lean Six Sigma case study is used to illustrate the execution of a Lean Six Sigma project. Organization-wide deployment of Lean Six Sigma, selection of Lean Six Sigma projects, formation of teams, project management, and Lean Six Sigma certification are discussed. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Yellow Belt Certificate in Lean Six Sigma.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Workshop – May 29, 2023 through June 2, 2023
This short course provides an introduction to Lean Six Sigma. The history of Lean Six Sigma is discussed and the DMAIC process and concept of Lean are introduced. Lean Six Sigma tools used in Lean Six Sigma projects are introduced with a focus on application of statistical analysis. Several Lean Six Sigma case studies are presented to help students understand the execution of a Lean Six Sigma project and use of various tools. Organization-wide deployment of Lean Six Sigma, selection of Lean Six Sigma projects, formation of teams, project management, and Lean Six Sigma certification are discussed. Upon successful completion of the course and passing scores on quizzes, participants will receive a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
