Description
Earn a professional certificate and 3 CEUs in the fundamentals of nuclear security. This is a program consisting of several online, self-paced courses equivalent to approximately 30 hours of coursework.
Section Description
The basic program fee includes delivery of a virtual certificate (in pdf format). Participants who would like to have a physical certificate sent to them can add on a mailing fee for either a US or international address.
The modules for this program include:
- Introduction to Nuclear Security and Safeguards (3-4 hours)
- Basic Nuclear and Atomic Physics (2 hours)
- Introduction to the Nuclear Fuel Cycle (4 hours)
- Basic Radiation Detection (5 hours
- Threats to Nuclear Security (1 hour)
- Nuclear Security Culture (3 hours)
- Physical Protection Systems (3 hours)
- Insider Threats (2 hours)
- Basics of Nuclear Security Exam
