Coastal Engineering and Nature-based Solutions Short Course

This in-person course is intended to train the practitioner on practical aspects of coastal engineering and nature-based solutions. Attendees could be entry level personnel in the field, mid-level engineers or scientists, project managers, directors, regulators, and contractors. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Dredging Engineering Short Course

This 4.5 day Dredging Short Course will discuss current information on dredging fundamentals, dredge equipment & instrumentation, dredging procedures, dredged material placement procedures, sediment transport in pipes, environmental regulations, mathematical/numerical models, cost estimating, dredging and remediation of contaminated sediments, wetlands development, dredging case studies, topics in surveying, cost estimating, engineering with nature and beneficial uses of dredged material.
